Yoga for Arthritis
This gentle yoga class helps move your joints through their full range of motion, increasing flexibility and muscle strength, helping reduce joint pain, and lower stress and tension.
Simple props like blocks, cushions, chairs and blankets help make the many benefits of yoga accessible to all. Students will also learn exercises that can be done anywhere, on or off the mat.
Before starting a yoga regimen, please speak to your rheumatologist or primary-care physician. Bring a yoga mat.

Whether you need to manage anxiety, gain strength, increase flexibility or simply find joy being in community with like-minded people, yoga meets you where you are and moves you, at your own pace, to where you need to be. I hold space for this process to happen.
My teaching is designed to guide you safely, creatively, and joyfully down the path of well-being. Together we learn how to practice without pain, embrace what we can and cannot do without judgment, and live in peaceful residence in our bodies.

Many of us find it difficult to get on and off the floor but that doesn’t have to keep you from doing yoga. In fact, almost all yoga poses can be done seated or standing while using a chair. And they can be just as challenging as those on the mat and equally beneficial to body, mind and spirit.
